The Flower World

Created for permanent exhibition at the Museo Chiapas de Ciencia y Tecnología (MUCH). In Mayan mythology, the Flower World is a floral mountain that serves as a home for gods and ancestors and a way to ascend to the sun's paradisal realm. The Flower World is a land of spirits and the dead, and a beautiful world filled with flowers, butterflies, birds, and rainbows. Flowers are metaphors for the heart and soul.
